Mannoury is ideally located between the Vondelpark, the Rembrandtpark and the Sloterplas, close to the ring road and the Lelylaan station, where you can catch a train to Schiphol in just 7 minutes.
An innovative and smart green roof which combines plants, stormwater collection, solar panels and the re-use of filtered shower water. Mannoury is the first building in the world where we are conducting a unique experiment to study the actual environmental impact it has: Project Urban PhotoSynthesis.
The smart roof reduces Mannoury’s CO2 footprint, while compensating for the CO2 released during construction, demolition and use of the building over the next 75 years. Ethically sourced materials determine the finish to be used for the apartments and public spaces.
Mannoury’s roof and balconies are green all year round. The collected rainwater and filtered shower water are used for irrigation. This not only ensures a cooling effect, but because of the carefully selected plants also contributes to the biodiversity.
From building to ecosystem. How can we learn from nature to enable future-proof living? At Mannoury, you live in an innovative CO2-neutral building with a mission. Our smart green roof serves as a real-world testing ground for creating cooler, more sustainable and more liveable cities.
